Change of defence motives with cyclic effects 1

As CCM announced 5th TT CCM for problems showing theme from title of page, I took the classic material from 70s - first theoretical work on change of defence motives Methodical sheets by Karol Mlynka - wrote positions and below are reproduced the first known examples for Mlynka theme in existence. Later may follow other diagrams from booklet that would be good thematical exmaples for 5th TT CCM.
Karol Mlynka
2253 Die Schwalbe 7 /1966

1.Qd3? th. 2.Qd4#
1...d5 (unblocking - A) 2.b8Q#
1...fxg5 (unpinning - B) 2.Sxf5#
1...Be3 (guarding - C) 2.Qxe3#
1...Bxg5!

1.Sa3! th. 2.Sc4#
1...d5 (guarding - C) 2.b8Q#
1...fxg5 (unblocking - A) 2.Sxf5#
1...Be3 (unpinning - B) 2.Qxe3#

Pioneer example of Mlynka theme. Widely reproduced and well known although it was only the beginning and much nicer problems were to come in the future...

Karol Mlynka
6273 Probleemblad 9-10 1967

1.Sd4? th. 2.Be6#
1...Qxe3+ (checking - A) 2.Sxe3#
1...Qxd6 (guarding - B) 2.Qxd6#
1...Rg8 (pinning - C) 2.hxg8Q#
1...f5!

1.Bf5! th. 2.Qxe4#
1...Qxe3 (guarding - B) 2.Sxe3#
1...Qxd6 (pinning - C) 2.Qxd6#
1...Rg8+ (checking - A) 2.hxg8Q#

Second try of author to bring the theme into consideration of general public, more successful than the first one, more inspiring.

Karol Mlynka
1st HM SSZ C 28.2.1970

1.Sf8? th. 2.Rc6#
1...Rf7 (pinning - A) 2.Sxf7#
1...Rxf8 (providing flight by capture - B) 2.Qxf8#
1...Qxd5 (guarding - C) 2.Qxd5#
1...e4!

1.Kb8! th. 2.Be7#
1...Rf7 (guarding - C) 2.Sxf7#
1...Rxf8 (pinning - A) 2.Qxf8#
1...Qxd5 (providing flight by capture - B) 2.Qxd5#

One of the first works with Mlynka theme awarded in tourneys. Construction is getting better and better...

Zoltan Labai
2nd HM SSZ C 28.2.1970

1.Bh3? th. 2.Qc5#
1...Qd3 (unpinning - A) 2.Sxb4#
1...Sd7 (guarding - B) 2.Qxd7#
1...Rf5 (providing flight by closing white line - C) 2.Sxe7#
1...b3!

1.f3! th. 2.fxe4#
1...Qd3 (guarding - B) 2.Sxb4#
1...Sd7 (providing flight by closing white line - C) 2.Qxd7#
1...Rf5 (unpinning - A) 2.Sxe7#

In this problem the construction is heavier, but this is partially connected with materially demanding motives of unpinning and providing flight by closing white line.
