Leo in the main role 2

This is the second special example file for the 27th TT CCM C 3.3.2010.

There are only twomovers here, although it seems they might motivate some longer problems too.

Flight-giving key allows pin model mate on the flight and two further pin model mates after captures on e4. Quite in the style of Zdenek Mach. Actually, it might be interesting to try composing direct mate with leo and model mates, this is probably quite little searched field.

4-phase change of two mates, in each phase the mates are by antibattery on the same square. Rather exercise in geometry than excellent composition, but leos are well capable of similar effects.

Again unified strategy in four phases, this time with Sentinelles. Moving leo away from bK leaves pawn on the line, creating a kind of antibattery. Petko Petkov have composed many problems with similar effects, but then again surely there are some undiscovered gems in the field.

And now for something traditional. I like especially the defence motive of the first five variations: removal of the hurdle needed for guard by LEb1. Note also many mates over three immobilized black pawns.

Complex three-phase change of mates has reciprocal change and Dombrovskis included. There are mates on f5 (battery), e6, d6 and e5 with varying activities of three black leos. Actually this excellent fairy twomover develops idea of the present problem, but of course, with additional types of fairy pieces.

Good symmetry circe strategy allows mutual interferences of the B/R pair on three different squares. To show more, it was again necessary to use much more fairy elements.
