Circe problems without captures 3

This is the third special example file for the 26th TT CCM C 11.11.2009.

In six direct problems with fairy you can find wide range of effects. Some of them are among the best recent fairy problems, but we have here also Lacny cycle 29 years old with fairly interesting motivations.

Black could parry three white thematical checks by capture of pawns and their rebirths. Nf7 is aimed at Pd3, Gf6 at Pc3 and LIh5 at Pb5. Their withdrawal makes mates possible. The key switches lines and allows cyclical change of pawn guards. Consequent motivation for Lacny cycle.

Three main variations have the same motivation: black piece moves to the position of potential hurdle, have the mating white pieces been reborn on the 8th rank. That is why White can mate on the attacked square.

Any move of Pf2 vacates f2, naturally. This also activates Pf5 to e3 and thus makes possible mates from the battery on the f-line. Any promotion, however, bears some attack too, either at wK or at mating grasshopper. As a consequence, white queen opening the battery has to play precisely and parry the attack.

Circe Rex Inclusiv requires two elements for the check. Not only attack at the king, but also occupation of its Circe square. Here the attack is in place from the beginning and in mating move White just occupies the Circe squares of royal promotee.

The mechanism of Dombrovskis based on activation and deactivation of lion lines is well known. However the Anticirce is used especially for the motivation of secondary defences of LId3. LIg3 and LIg6 set up the attack on the Circe square of the mating Sb5, while LIb5 makes the Sb5 not mating due to the capture.

Absolutely fantastic moremover with full use of Anticirce effects in spite of absence of captures. Batteries fired by wK by walking from one Circe square to another are perfectly arranged to interplay with white nightrider and black rook blocking its movable Circe square.

Black correction in eightmover? Yes.
